Metal Roofing
A "metal roofing panel" refers to a single, flat sheet of metal used as a component of a roof system, typically made from materials like steel, aluminum, or copper, designed to be installed together to create a waterproof covering on a building, often featuring various profiles like corrugated or standing seam designs depending on the desired aesthetic and functionality. The Panels come in gauges ranging from 29-gauge, 26-gauge, and 24-gauge with the most common and cost-effective being 29 gauge. Metal Roofing is Installed using a base of either High-Temp Ice and Water Shield or 30LB Felt. Metal roofs are considered one of the best roofing options for high-wind areas due to their strength and design. Metal panels often come with a sustained wind rating of 140 MPH.
Modified Bitumen Roofing
Modified Bitumen commonly known as Mod-Bit is made of a combination of asphalt, polymerized rubber or plastic, and fiberglass or polyester fabric mats. It is a flexible, durable, and waterproof roofing material commonly used on flat and low-slope roofs. The benefits of Modified Bitumen are the protection it offers against water, snow, hail, and temperature fluctuations. It is resistant to tearing and can easily be patched and repaired. This roofing system is low maintenance and comes in a variety of colors including white, black, tan, green, and grey.
TPO
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roofing is a single-ply roofing membrane made of three layers that are installed to cover flat or low-slope roofs. TPO's white surface reflects heat and UV rays, which can help save energy and lower cooling costs. TPO is mostly used for commercial roofing projects including Hospitals, Hotels, Shopping Centers etc.
Asphalt Shingles
Asphalt shingles consist of a fiberglass and asphalt composite, which is overlayed with colored mineral granules for extra protection against the elements. Asphalt shingles come in varying grades and a large variety of colors. These variations include but are not limited to High Grade, Premium Grade, Shake Look, and Impact Resistant. The best grade offers the longest life expectancy (up to 5 decades). Architectural shingles provide a more attractive overlay design and shingle pattern once the new roof is installed. Asphalt shingles are the most common roofing material used for residential applications.
Cedar Shake
Cedar shingles are resistant to rot and are commonly available in lengths of 18 and 24 inches. These fade gradually from natural wood colored to a silver-like tone. Types include hand-split resawn shakes, taper-split shakes, or taper-sawn shake. Cedar Shakes are now offered with a Class A to a Class C fire rating.
